Educational workbook for professionals

Studio Elisabeth Enthoven’s task was first to review and organize all the information in a clear and concise manner, in consultation with Sofia van Santen, co-author and researcher at Leiden University of Applied Sciences. The focus is on making the sometimes dry research information accessible to the user—professionals in the nature culture and nature education sectors—in a pleasant way. This resulted in devising creative and accessible visual solutions, such as adding imagery in the form of custom illustrations and choosing clear colors to distinguish between chapters and topics.

Kansrijk om de hoek is an initiative of Leiden University of Applied Sciences, the University of Amsterdam, and Naturalis. It focuses on equal opportunity by better connecting in-school and out-of-school learning environments (such as the neighborhood or nature). The goal is to enrich the development of children and young people by learning in their own living environment.
