For the dutch crime thriller ‘Wraak’ (revenge) I have created a custom type design for the logo and Main Title. In the above picture you can see my preferred choice for the design. This option I presented with the input of some key words: bold, Moroccan flavor, powerplay, crime. I translated the Moroccan theme by connecting the letters on the bottom end – like Arabic script. The letters are slightly slanted that gives the crime / powerplay feel. The logo had a bold outlook, no escape! In the end the director choose a less bold option that you can see below. I am also happy with this choice but I would have preferred the top option was used as this option is much more unique, younger, bolder and balsier.
